Current Available Positions

Accountant

Must have a basic understanding of GAAP accounting principles, accrual-based financials, and accounting procedures and internal controls and the ability to apply GAAP principles to work performed. A minimum of three years of accounting work experience required. A four-year accounting degree or equivalent education/experience is preferred. Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. Must be a team player with the ability to prioritize competing tasks. Must be dynamic and possess a positive and customer-service attitude.

Budget Analyst

Responsible for preparing budgets and forecasts across the organization. Prepares quarterly management financial package along with cash and borrowing base forecasts. Supports cash management activities related to working capital and debt covenant requirements. Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university in finance or accounting, and at least 4-7 years of related experience and/or training required.

Corporate Controller – Accounting/Finance

Responsible for maintaining the internal controls and financial systems of the company and overseeing key finance functions including financial accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, investment and fund accounting. In addition, this role will co-lead our financial systems implementation, including business process re-engineering, financial systems design architecture, data conversion and ongoing data integrity function. An important aspect of this role is the advisory relationship with other finance managers and business managers in designing and maintaining data and financial systems architecture, mapping financial accounting needs to business unit level detail and vice versa. Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, and 5-10 years of related experience and/or training, some of which are from a public accounting firm.

Business Controller – Land

Provide sustained managerial accounting and financial performance insights and reports to the Vice President of the Land Division, CFO & Treasurer, and other senior management. Working closely with Land Division leadership and staff, the Business Controller will help to facilitate revenue growth and improved returns for various enterprises and operating businesses by providing strategic financial reports and metrics. Key responsibilities of this role will include designing, maintaining, integrating critical accounting and financial data into reports and systems for an existing lease portfolio as well as emerging real estate opportunities and projects, covering large scale alternative land use, renewable energy, sustainable community planning, and other various strategic priorities for Parker Ranch. Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, and 5-10 years of related experience and/or training, some of which are from a public accounting firm.

Business Controller – Livestock

The Business Controller will help to define, develop and implement the managerial accounting and financial performance insights for the Livestock team. The Business Controller will act as the bridge for the business operation division it serves, being the financial partner to the business by providing financial support and excellent customer service. This position will work in a dynamic environment and must demonstrate the ability to help the rganization navigate through growth phases. Responsible for supervising assigned accounting staff and overseeing the monthly close to ensure financial statements, data for metrics and other deliverables for the business are accurate and timely. Responsible for working with business division to establish processes to achieve a smooth data flow. Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, and 5-10 years of related experience and/or training, some of which are from a public accounting firm required.
